External Booster Groups and PTOs
External support/booster organizations are established by parents and community members to promote school programs or complement student groups or activities. An external support/booster organization works very closely with the district, but it is a separate legal entity and is responsible for adherence to IRS and State guidelines and Title IX regulations. All groups must receive the approval of the Edmonson County School Board to establish, support and fundraise in the name of the Edmonson County Schools or its students and programs.
